This is one of my favorite ways to consume whole grains! Spelt creates a beautiful fluffy crumb and nutty flavor, which sets it apart from other whole grains. Plus, while spelt does contain gluten and is not suitable for those with a gluten allergy, some people have an easier time digesting gluten from spelt. We source our spelt from a local New Jersey mill and farm.
